The UX Designer, will be part of the Global Digital Marketing & eCommerce team, based in Belgium, and reporting into the Global Head of Digital Experience.
For this purpose, we are creating a new function and role the UX Designer, or User Experience Designer. The UX Designer will be responsible for the design of digital products and services, such as websites, software and mobile applications that enhance a customer's experience of all our brands. He will Work closely with the UX manager & the business in workshops to ideate and make something out of nothing.
The lead will work very closely with other experts in the group digital marketing & ecommerce team, IT, external vendors, business stakeholders and customers to run several pilot projects in parallel.
The lead will guide the design from the wireframe/high level fidelity (low level fidelity if needed) to the final implementation. Once ready and validate he will work with the development team to ensure the success of the implementation.
Roles and responsibilities
- Review user experience design elements
- Ensure we have a global consistent approach on the UX for all company brands
- Develop/create and conceptualize a complete UX design strategy
- Doing stakeholder research to understand client needs
- Conducting competitive analysis of other websites that operate in the same space
- Develop high-quality UX design solutions
- Design UI elements and tools for digital assets
- Test UI elements for landing pages
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to develop and deliver tailored UX elements
- Adhere to typography and graphic design style standards
- Make sure we respect the brand identity and make sure they are inline with the digital standard
- Writing clear specifications and guidelines
- Ensure the development team & UX manager understand and execute ideas
- Coordinating with UI Design team on issues like navigation, page routing, product page design and more
- Analysing issues and problem-solving
- Looking for ways to improve the product
- Actively learn and share the latest developments in the digital domain, to ensure we work with the best and latest technology, vendors, and concepts.
- Work as a team and key stakeholders the web & ecommerce strategy, roadmap and development based on customer experience journeys, market needs, competition, and group directions
- Constantly anticipate and balance customer & business needs based on your deep understanding of the business, customer, and user experience

Required experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in design, digital art, or relevant field
- At least 3-5+ years (//edit according to your requirements) of experience as a UI/UX designer
- Proven UI/UX designing skills for both web and mobile platforms
- Practical experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of project management and research
- Proficiency in interaction design and information architecture
- Expertise in different design software’s like UXPin, or Balsamiq or Figma…
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Digital Project Management with demonstrable successes & failures
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading the process of turning ideas into digital solutions
- Demonstrated behaviour as a mobilizer who get things done and embraces change
- Demonstrated behaviour as a real team player with focus on execution
Language skills
English: C1 level or higher
Required education
Bachelor/master’s degree or equivalent by experience
Geographic Context and Travel Requirements
Up to 15% travel and frequent presence in Belgium (headquarters and IT offices in KOB)

? Ensures that the organization's website provides up to date and comprehensive product/service information that is easily available to existing and potential customers
? May be responsible for social media marketing and online community management
